Lindsay Lohan is hoping for a better 2013 than how 2012 turned out, but one report suggests that she got off on the wrong foot, getting evicted from her Beverly Hills home.
Hollyscoop started the rumor, reporting that Lohan could no longer afford the home, which she was paying $8,000-per-month for rent. A source told the site that a realtor spilled the news.
“I went house hunting in Beverly Hills and the realtor told me that she was shown a house and the realtor said that it was Lindsay’s last home,” the source claimed. “She had just recently left because she could no longer afford it.”
The actress “no longer lives in the L.A. home because she moved to New York,” her rep told Gossip Cop. The rep adds that the Hollyscoop story is “totally untrue.”
Lohan has been trying to get her career back on track after a string of legal problems, but her Lifetime movie Liz & Dick was slammed by critics and she was recently charged for her car crash last June. She has also had to pay back taxes and needed Charlie Sheen’s help to do so.
Lohan will be making an appearance in Scary Movie 5 and stars in The Canyons. She spent New Year’s in London, where she had dinner with Josh Chunn, her former rumored boyfriend, reports The Daily Mail.
