Notorious actress Lindsay Lohan entered a plea of not guilty Tuesday in relation to charges stemming from a car crash in June.
Reuters reported that Lohan, 26, was not present at the hearing.
The crash occurred in Santa Monica, Calif. when her sports car hit a truck. Lohan was later arraigned on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving as well as lying to police, whom she told that she was not driving. The incident led to her probation being revoked in December.
Lohan had been on probation for jewelry theft in 2011. She now faces the possibility of 245 days in prison, according to Zap2it.
A date for her probation hearing will be announced when Lohan appears in court Jan. 30.
Ironically, Lohan fired her attorney Shawn Holley on Monday. She was replaced with attorney Mark Heller, even though Holley entered the not guilty plea.
TMZ reported that Lohan had second thoughts about firing Holley.
Lohan’s most recent role, playing screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in the TV movie Liz & Dick, drew many negative reviews from critics and audiences.
