Actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down the chance to appear on Dancing With the Stars.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Lohan’s reason for turning down the chance to appear on the reality series is due to her desire act in movies.
According to TMZ, Lohan was offered over $500,000 to appear on the show.
Lohan rejected the offer in spite of the fact that she is in huge debt over back taxes. Earlier this month, actor Charlie Sheen gave Lohan $100,000 in order to help her with that debt.
"We don't comment on casting,” a DWTS spokesperson said.
Her acting career has not been the best either. She was panned for her performance as legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime TV movie Liz & Dick.
Lohan’s behavior on the set of her next film The Canyons was the subject of a New York Times Magazine article which was published Jan. 10.
The film was rejected at the recent Sundance Film Festival, although, according to the Hollywood Gossip, a reason was not given.
