New York Times writer Stephen Rodrick published an article about Lindsay Lohan while observing some of her behavior while on the set of her indie film The Canyons.
The very lengthy profile shares some of the behind-the-scenes secrets that prove Lohan is pretty difficult to work with.
Now, sources tell TMZ that Lohan has responded to the piece, saying most of it is pretty accurate.
Rodrick wrote about Lohan being fired for being late to the first read-through, and then re-hired after she begged him to take her back. Lohan now tells friends that some of her antics such as being late, being nervous about doing the sex scenes and getting into fights with producers happen all the time on movie sets.
There’s one thing she is denying about the piece, and that’s an allegation she drank and then got behind the wheel again. She said she never drank on set, despite alcohol being provided.
At the end of the day Lohan says she’s happy with how it all turned out, having established good relationships with producers and even director Paul Schrader, who asked her to do another film.
