The troubled actress decided that she did not want to do a reality show by declining a $550,000 offer from Dancing with the Stars.
According to a source linked to TMZ, Lohan told her friends that she did not want to do reality TV shows - she wanted to only stick with movies.
The source also said that Lohan still owed the government hundreds of thousands in back taxes, even to her former lawyer Shawn Holley.
A representative of Dancing with the Stars told TMZ, "We don't comment on casting."
According to The Huffington Post, the actress had her bank account seized by the IRS last year, because she had not paid $234,000 in back taxes.
Her fellow Scary Movie 5 actor Charlie Sheen, reportedly helped Lohan with her tax payment by loaning her $100,000.
This would be a little difficult for Lindsay to get hired in real movies again, after her mediocre appearance in mediocre movies, Liz & Dick, and the latest The Canyons fiasco.
According to Yahoo! Movies, the entire movie was a total train wreck, displaying way lower than mediocre acting and less than zero suspense.
It was rejected to enter Sundance Film Festival, and the movie's producers were stunned, blaming Lohan without concrete reasons.
