Lindsay Lohan turns down ‘Dancing with the Stars’

By Sarah McClanahan,

Lindsay Lohan rejected a half million dollar offer to appear on the next season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan was offered up to $550,000 to star on the next season of Dancing with the Stars.

However, Lohan rejected the offer. She said that she wanted to concentrate on movies, and would never consider reality television- despite the fact she still owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes.

One of her most recent credits includes the low budget film The Canyons, mentions Daily Mail. During the filming, Lohan was a “headache” for director Paul Schrader, and he fired and re-hired her multiple times for being late, uncooperative, and arriving to set drunk. At one point, he was forced to strip naked himself to convince her to film her first ever on-screen sex scene along with three other porn stars. This scene should have been no surprise to Lohan - it was part of a contract she had signed before beginning the project.

The New York Post reports that Katherine Webb, former Miss Alabama and quarterback AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, has also been offered a spot on the show. She later denied that report.

The sixteenth season of DWTS will air on ABC on March 18 at 8 p.m.
