Matt Damon seeks revenge on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' dominates ratings (Video)

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Bourne Identity actor Matt Damon engaged in sweet revenge when he took over the Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday evening, tying up the talk show host and gagging him while he acted as host and even sought the help of A-listers Reese Witherspoon, Robin Williams, and of course, best-friend Ben Affleck.

According to New York Daily News, Damon kicked off the show with a monologue, stating, “Welcome to tonight's episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Sucks.’ Just for starters, let me ask you guys this: as an audience, is it weird to see a person with actual talent host this show?"

Continuing he states,"I've been waiting for this moment for a long, long time," Damon said. "This is like the time I lost my virginity, except this is going to last way longer than one second."

Affleck acted as the cue-card holder, while Williams continued the hilarious monologue. Sheryl Crow led the band, while Andy Garcia acted as security chatting away with the beautiful Witherspoon.

Daily News notes the reason Damon brought revenge upon the hilarious late-night host is because of Kimmel’s constant lack of time for the actor. Kimmel reportedly bumped Damon as a guest a reported 1,205 times in the last decade.

Damon continued his digs on Kimmel as he sat interviewing his guests Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, and Gary Oldman. Kidman quipped, “I would never do Kimmel's show because he f****** sucks."

As if that wasn’t enough, Damon also spoke to the likes of Sarah Silverman, Kimmel’s ex, and even dominated the ratings! Acording to The Hollywood Reporter, Damon’s hosting duties brought the late night shows timeslot to an all-time high. Kimmel's show beat out fellow late night host Jay leno by 62% and David Letterman by 120%.
