Matthew McConaughey, one of the stars of Magic Mike, is finally opening up about the suggestion of making a sequel to the film, which also stars Channing Tatum.
Perez Hilton reports that the actor recently said, "I know it's something that's legitimately brewing. In the right way [I would come back]. It would be so much fun."
Costar Tatum was once asked if he would film a sequel and responded by saying, “Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger.”
According to MTV News McConaughey also said, "I haven't talked to Channing [Tatum] in about a month. But I think he's taking some time off too because has about to be a new dad, and good for him to do that too cause he's been cranking it out for a while."
Costar Tatum recently shared - even before he found out that he would become a father - that he wanted to take a break from acting.
There have also been rumors about turning the original film into a Broadway play, but no details have ever been confirmed.
