Miley Cyrus is fighting back against the fake campaign by Justin Bieber fans to urge cutting in light of his recent marijuana smoking scandal.
After a message board was posted of Bieber’s fans discussing getting #cutforbieber trending on Twitter by Buzzfeed, Cyrus called it “so disrespectful.” The hoax was meant to try and get Bieber's fans to post pictures of themselves cutting themselves for being so distraught over the "Boyfriend" singer's drug controversy.
Cyrus retweeted Official CANCER’s tweet that read, “#cutforbieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful.”
The group, 4chan, also tried to take down Buzzfeed after their group chat was published on their site.
The singer then let fans know what she’s up to, posting a picture of herself back in the studio, recording new music.
She wrote,”guesssss where iiiii am??? #gooooo.”
