Nadya 'Octomom' Suleman back on welfare

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Nadya “Octomom” Suleman is back on welfare.

TMZ reports that the mother of 14 signed up for welfare again following a stint in rehab. Octomom entered rehab in November for stress, anxiety, exhaustion and Xanax.

The report states that she will be allowed $1800 a month for food costs and $1,000 for emergency spending.

A rep for Suleman explains to E! News, “Nadya…went on state assistance for a short time to get back on her feet. She spent a lot of her savings while she was in treatment between paying for full-time round-the-clock nannies, drivers, security and her treatment program. She does not expect to be on longer than three months."

Suleman has long struggled financially, she filed for bankruptcy in May 2012. Months later the controversial mother set up a webpage asking for support from her fans in order to save her home.

She continued her money adventures by both appearing in an adult film in which she masturbated on film and also appeared at a gentlemen’s club in Florida.
