Following a rehab stint and reportedly becoming financially stable due to a self-pleasure video and other business ventures, Nayda “Octomom” Suleman is back on welfare.
According to TMZ, it was her rehab stint that brought her back into financial crisis, as she used most of her savings for the inpatient program. She has signed up for welfare again this week.
Suleman, who has 14 children, will now once again be getting government assistance in the form of $1,800 a month for food, $1,000 for emergency cash, and Medi-Cal benefits for dental and mental health.
The New York Daily News reports that Suleman filed for bankruptcy last May.
"I'd be lying if I didn't say generating revenue wasn't a major reason why I did it, but I found the experience was empowering and liberating," Octomom has said about her solo masturbation video.
She did her rehab stint for her dependency to Xanax, exhaustion and other emotional disorders.
