NBC really loves Betty White. The network is still running her Off Their Rockers show and celebrated her 90th birthday last year with a special that drew decent ratings. The network will throw another star-studded birthday bash for the Hot in Cleveland star.
The network announced today that Betty White’s Second Annual 90th Birthday Special will air on Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 8 to 9 p.m., reports Deadline. The special will include appearances from her Hot In Cleveland co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.
Country star Blake Shelton, Bill Cosby, Whoopi Goldberg, Sean Hayes, Rico Rodriguez, Lily Tomlin and Sarah Silverman will also make appearances. Vicki Lawrence has been tapped to reprise her role from Mama’s Family.
Katie Couric, Zachary Levi, Larry King, Kate Flannery and former President Bill Clinton will also stop by to toast White.
Shelton will perform a special song and clips from White’s legendary career will be played throughout the episode.
White’s Off Their Rockers series, which features the elderly playing pranks on the younger generation, airs on Tuesday nights. Last night’s episodes drew 5.65 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating, reports Hit Fix. Hot in Cleveland airs on Wednesdays on TV Land.
White has starred in films and TV shows for over 60 years now, appearing in classics like Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Last year’s birthday celebration drew a 2.7 rating in the key demographic.
