‘New Girl’ ratings climb, but ‘NCIS’ still dominates Tuesday

Tuesday may have been more about comedy than dramas for NBC, ABC and Fox, but CBS’ crime dramas still dominated as usual. Still, there was some good news for Fox, with New Girl’s numbers climbing.

CBS averaged 16.71 million viewers on the night and had a 2.9 18-49 rating, notes HitFix. NCIS was the huge winner of the night, drawing 21.8 million viewers and a 3.7 18-49 rating. CBS’ dominance continued with NCIS: LA, which had 17.19 million viewers and a 3.1 18-49 rating. Vegas capped off the night with 11.12 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating.

NBC was way back in second with just 4.56 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating. Betty White’s Off Their Rockers had 5.22 million viewers and a 1.5 18-49 rating. Go On had 3.86 million viewers and a 1.5 18-49 rating, while New Normal came in with 3.12 million and a 1.1 key demo rating. Both shows hit series lows, reports THR. Dateline had just under 5 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating.

Fox finished with 3.75 million viewers, but it was just ahead of NBC in the ratings with a 1.8 18-49 rating. An hour of Raising Hope had 3.62 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating. New Girl jumped 14 percent to 4.7 million viewers and a 2.5 18-49 rating, notes EW. The Mindy Project had 3.11 million viewers and a 1.7 18-49 rating.

ABC had 3.62 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating. The Taste fell to 4.79 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating. Two Happy Endings episodes combined for 2.87 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating, while a Jimmy Kimmel Live! special had 3.19 million and a 1.2 key demo rating.

Over at The CW, Hart of Dixie was down to 1.3 million viewers and a 0.5 18-49 rating. Emily Owens, MD had 1.36 million and a 0.4 18-49 rating.
