Nicki Minaj states she rebuilt bond with Mariah Carey by watching her sex tape

Gone are the days of apologizing when you can make up with your nemesis by watching a sex tape you star in. That’s exactly how the fence was mended between former feuding American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.

NME reports that Minaj revealed that she opted to bury the hatchet with the “Fantasy” singer by having a viewing party of her sex tape. The Idol judges were questioned about their feud, which began when the two disagreed of a contestant and in turn Minaj threatened to “knock out” Carey, Minaj chimed in, “I put on my sex tape." Carey, attempted to give the generic answer, "Time heals all wounds". Minaj then added, "And we watched my tape ... We’re professionals.”

The blow-up was caught on tape and shows Minaj yelling at producers, “I told them, I'm not f*ckin' putting up with her f*ckin' highness over there.” Carey later told Barbara Walters that Minaj threatened to shoot her.

Then, only days ago, Carey admitted to hiring more security during their travels as she feared what the “Starship” singer would do next.

Minaj and Carey seemed in better spirits about their co-judging during their first press appearance Monday. However, it was noted that he two women would not look directly at each other during the appearance.
