In the latest installment of the paparazzi death in relation to Justin Bieber’s Ferrari, reports now suggest that the deceased paparazzo had been “stalking” the 18-year-old pop star.
Those close to Bieber say that Chris Guerra, 29, had been working tirelessly for months to get photos only of the “Beauty and the Beat” star.
He was reportedly “following and chasing him at every opportunity,” Fox News reports.
On the day that he died, however, Guerra believed he was on the cusp of breaking a big news story – that not only was Bieber in Los Angeles when everyone thought he was in Mexico, but that he was driving around smoking marijuana.
Sources told TMZ that Guerra had placed a call at 5:15pm, less than an hour before he died, telling someone at his photo agency "Man, you won't believe my luck. It's pretty dead in L.A.. Everybody thinks Justin and Selena are in Mexico, but they're not."
He also said he saw Bieber’s Ferrari at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills with Selena Gomez’s car as well. He was following Bieber, who ended up not even being in the car, because he thought he could get a shot of him smoking out of a pipe while driving.
Bieber’s rep told TMZ about the marijuana allegations, “It's really sad that people are trying to push a story without the facts so soon after this tragic accident. Justin was not present or involved in this incident and the focus should remain on honoring the memory of the victim."
