Rick Harrison, the owner of the Las Vegas pawn shop at the center of History Channel’s hit show Pawn Stars, is ready to get married. He and his fiance Deanna Burditt will marry on July 21.
“She’s sticking me with all the planning!” the 47-year-old Harrison told People.
They had first hoped to get married in Las Vegas, but they have now decided to go with the Riz Carlton in Laguna Beach, California.
“It will be a lot of friends and family,” Harrison told People at the opening of Wynn Las Vegas's Andrea's earlier this week. “It started off with about 40 people and it's well over 100 people now. You know how those things go.”
According to Zap2It, Harrison confirmed that Danny Koker, who appears on the show often and now hosts History’s Counting Cars, will become a minister just to officiate the ceremony. He also said that he is going to trust Chumlee with the ring, which Pawn Stars fans know might not be the best idea.
“I can't make that up,” he said. “I just had no idea there was so much involved. I just thought you got a cake, had a party, buy a keg. But we're getting it done.”
Pawn Stars airs on History on Monday nights.
