President Barack Obama's second inauguration brings out the stars (Video)

Today’s inauguration is not only a moment in history for all Americans, it was also a star studded event.

There were many celebrities in the audience, watching President Obama be sworn in for his second term. Some of the celebrities included John Mayer, Katy Perry, and Kelly Clarkson.

The performers during the Inauguration ceremony were nothing less than A-list.

NBC reports that James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce were lined up to perform in honor of the president.

James Taylor stepped up to the stage to sing a rendition “America the Beautiful” right after Vice President Biden was sworn in for the second time.

After the president’s inaugural address, Kelly Clarkson gave a very moving performance of “My Country Tis of Thee” which even made Senator Charles Schumer say “wow.”

Finally, the one everyone was waiting for, MTV notes that Beyonce, the final performer at the Inauguration Ceremony, belted out the National Anthem, beautifully.

It was an event fit for a President.
