Quentin Tarantino admits Kate Hudson rom-com's make him teary eyed

He may be one of the country’s most gruesome directors, but Quentin Tarantino reveals that a simple chick flick starring Kate Hudson is enough to bring him to tears.

“If I am on an aeroplane I love a rom-com, a Kate Hudson movie is exactly what I am looking for and I’ll sit there and I’ll cry…I think it’s the altitude,'' Tarantino revealed during an interview at the Yahoo! Movies Fan event, Entertainmentwise reports.

During the event, Tarantino informed that Django Unchained is one of the most expensive films he has ever made. “I guess Kill Bill was a little bigger than this one as it was made into two movies, but this is definitely the most expensive film I have made.”

Tarantino’s recently debuted film, Django Unchained has been received well by a majority of viewers. However, Spike Lee previously slammed the film calling it “disrespectful.” Lee previously expressed his disapproval of the director’s use of the ‘n’ word.
