‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Kandi Burruss (and her daughter) said YES!

Line producer Todd Tucker proposed to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss.

Kandi Burruss met her boyfriend Todd Tucker on the set of her hit reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, during the filming of its fourth season in 2011.

According to Us Weekly, Tucker’s intimate proposal took place on New Year’s Day when the couple was celebrating with friends in their home.

But, before he got down on one knee, he needed to secure the permission of her 10-year-old daughter, Riley. After she agreed, he brought out the two-carat diamond ring for his wife-to-be.

While the couple has a few dates in mind, they are still unsure about whether the wedding will be shown on an episode of The Real Housewives or not.

However, Burruss is sure of her love for Tucker, and plans to have kids with him in the future after they are married. She further expressed her elation to Us Weekly.

"I used to make jokes with my friends that I [was] part of the Forever Single Club," she gushed. "That's what I said before, but now I'm totally different."

Burruss was widely respected in the music scene before she ever reached reality show stardom. She is a talented songwriter who won a Grammy for TLC’s “Scrubs.”

People reports Burruss will also coach one man and one woman on “the song, the look, and the performance” in the hopes of reaching musical stardom on the upcoming Bravo show, The Kandi Factory, set to premiere March 4.
