Rockets end seven game losing-streak

By Jassum Gloster,

The Houston Rockets were on a seven game losing streak until they faced the Charlotte Bobcats today. James Harden and the Rockets beat the Bobcats 100-94.

Harden was struggling to find his shot during this bad losing streak, so tonight he drove to the hoop and was able to make it to the free throw line. According to UPI, Harden hit 19 of his 21 free throws, but only hit 5 of his 20 shots for the night. The Rockets did win, but it wasn’t pretty. The team will most likely have to make some adjustments if they want to pick up where they started after the Harden was traded to the team.

The Associated Press reports that Harden said after the game that "It felt like winning a championship. It feels good. We have had our losing ways and just to get this one off our back, go back home and get that confidence back is big. Maybe we can get our swagger back a little bit." Head coach Kevin McHale spoke on the team getting back to the basics not missing the easy shots.

The Rockets next game is against the Denver Nuggets and the Bobcats next opponent is the Atlanta Hawks.
