The cast for the long-awaited sequel to Sin City just continues to get bigger. On Friday, three more stars joined an already star-studded cast that includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Jessica Alba.
Indiewire confirmed on Friday that Goodfellas star Ray Liotta is joining the cast, as is The Dark Knight Rises’ Juno Temple. Entourage’s Jeremy Piven is also going to appear in the film.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has really started getting in high gear this month. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christopher Meloni and Josh Brolin are new actors to the franchise. Dennis Haysbert was cast to replace the late Michael Clarke Duncan.
Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke are returning.
It is going to be directed by Robert Rodriguez and Sin City creator Frank Miller. It is set to hit theaters in 3D and in 2D on Oct. 4.
Liotta recently starred in Killing Them Softly and the upcoming The Place Beyond The Pines. Temple has several films debuting at Sundance this week, including Lovelace. Finally, Piven stars on Mr. Selfridge, which will air on PBS this year.
