In one of the biggest lip syncing scandals of the decade, Beyonce is under rapid fire.

Yesterday at the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, Beyonce lip synced the National Anthem, much to the dismay of the public.

Many stars are now coming to Ms. Knowles defense.

The Marine Corps Band were the first ones to explain what happened.

Reported by HollywoodLife.com, they spoke to the Public Affairs Chief for the Marine Corps Band who said this:

“We don’t at all we know why she decided to go with the pre-recorded music. All music for the Inauguration is pre-recorded as a matter of course.”

They further explained, according to Eonline, that Beyonce was too busy rehearsing for her Superbowl Halftime Performance and didn’t have enough time to properly rehearse for the Inauguration.

LeAnn Rhimes defended Beyonce on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying that the choice might’ve not been Queen B’s to make.

“There are times when people will ask you to do it, and they will not let you do it unless you do it because they want control over what happens”

“All performers do have to do it at some point.” J.Lo said on The Daily Show according to Eonline.

Maybe, though, Beyonce shouldn’t have tried it out in front of the entire world.
