MTV’s Teen Mom 2 could be over. The network is reportedly close to cancelling the controversial reality series and Jenelle Evans is likely to blame.
Multiple sources told The New York Post on Tuesday that production is set to end soon on the series that focuses on four high school girls who have children.
Sources also told E! News that Teen Mom 2 is “definitely on its way out.” Another insider said that Evans is “too much of a liability.”
However, MTV sent a statement to E! News that read, “No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of Teen Mom 2...But the network is planning to air the fourth season this year and will announce the premiere date soon.”
This follows a traumatic few months for Evans. She revealed on Twitter that she was pregnant, got married to Courtland Rogers and then suffered a miscarriage.
“You f - - king leave out of town and I might be having a miscarriage?! F - - k U, U f - - king piece of sh - t,” she tweeted to Rogers. After the miscarriage, she tweeted that she and ex-fiance Gary Head were at a bar. Just last week, she filed assault charges against Rogers, notes E! News.
“The way she's going, she could literally die and MTV will be blamed for it,” the insider told E!. “They should have just taken away all her Twitters and Facebooks. Whatever.”
