Country starlet Taylor Swift may have a fantastic voice, but what has made her an iconic singer isn’t the sound of her voice- but her ability to sing about each and every failed relationship. Now, 30 Rock’s Tina Fey wants to get in on the action and have Swift sing a song about her.
Fey, who successfully co-hosted the Golden Globes with Amy Poehler, discussed the jab she took at Swift during her hosting duties, which included telling the “Mean” singer to “Stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son!” with Access Hollywood.
“I just feel like it was just a little joke, like two of your aunts, two of your old lady aunts teasing you at the Thanksgiving table, that’s all it was,” she explained. Access’ Shaun Robinson quipped, “Taylor Swift, might she write a song about you?”
“I hope so,” Tina exclaimed. “I would love it!”
Fey was honored at Sunday evening's Screen Actors Guild awards when she received the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in 30 Rock.
