The Office's resident power couple for nine seasons, Jim and Pam Halpert (John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer) started as best friends who see other people but secretly pine for each other for three burning seasons.
They dated for a couple of years, and are now sometimes-annoying spouses with two kids. If The Office is remembered for anything when it ends aside from “that’s what she said,” it’s this simply heartwarming love story, one reason the show has succeeded for so long on TV.
They’re the relationship we all wish we had, and they make it look so easy. It’s actually really, very hard to choose from the 1,000+ moments between these two endearing lovebirds.
10. Jim visits Pam at art school in New York in season 5. Witness good ole JAM at their sexiest best. This was just sweet to witness; we don’t really ever see that side (obviously). The camera crew was just the third member of this relationship, let’s be real.
9. “Future mother of my children.” From season 5’s “Crime Aid,” before they are married and Pam is off quote-on-quote “finding herself” away from Dunder-Mifflin and in the Big Apple, where apparently she fails at graphic design school and accidentally looks like Hitler at Halloween instead of Charlie Chaplin. Yeah, OK, go back to Jim—this man wants to have your babies.
8. In season 3’s “Back from Vacation,” Pam helps Jim with his relationship with Stamford transfer Karen Fillapelli (Rashida Jones, who really got the short end of the stick with this role). Because you can’t have the saccharine-Splenda ups without the lithium-like downs of a dramatic TV relationship like this. This whole plotline is the biggest downer ever, because you know they’re actually both “into” each other, which Pam later accidentally tells Karen. They even kissed (read below)! *cue gasp*
7. Ah, early JAM… I counted about 2.3 seconds of actual dialogue on the “Booze Cruise" of season 2. You could tell, just from Krasinski and Fischer's longing looks, they were just wanting to embrace right there outside in the freezing January on Lake Wallenpaupack, but once again, camera crew (and Pam's wedding date with Roy finally being set) got in the way.
