In anticipation of Sean Lowe’s debut as the newest star of The Bachelor tonight, here is a look at some of the longest lasting relationships that happened courtesy of the franchise. Hopefully Lowe finds a spot in this list in the future!
10. Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado
Velvick, the season six bachelor, proposed to Mary on the finale, and the couple lasted six years. However, their relationship was reportedly rocky and the two split in 2009.
9. Charlie O'Connell and Sarah Brice
The season seven bachelor and his pick dated on and off for about four years until finally separating in 2010.
8. Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez
Fedotowsky, the season six bachelorette, was so sure about her choice that she decided to only have Martinez at the show’s finale. The two moved in together and were engaged for 18 months until splitting late 2011.
7. Deanna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano
The season four bachelorette chose Jesse Csinsak on her finale, but the two split months later. She later met Stephen Stagliano, the brother of season five contestant Michael Stagliano. The two married early last year.
6. Peyton Wright and Chris Lambton
Lambton was the runner-up on Fedotowsky’s season, and Wright was a contestant on season 10 of The Bachelor. The two met at a reunion for the show and married last year.
5. Jesse Csinsak and Ann Leuders
After splitting with Pappas, Csinsak went on to meet Leuders, a contestant from season 13 of The Bachelor, through the show. The two later married and now have a son.
4. Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke
Molzahn finished second on season 14 of The Bachelor, and Locke also finished second on season five of The Bachelorette. However, the two later appeared on season one of The Bachelor Pad, where they met and started dating. The couple has now been together for almost three years.
3. Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney
Although Mesnick first proposed to Melissa Rycroft on season 13 of The Bachelor, he later changed his decision on the show’s "After the Final Rose" special and began dating Malaney, his runner up. The two have now been married for almost three years and are expecting a child this year.
2. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
The season seven bachelorette chose Rosenbaum on the show’s finale, and the two proceeded to move in together after the show. The couple then got married last month in a special on ABC: The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P’s Wedding.
1. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter
The season one bachelorette chose Sutter on her finale, and the couple have two children and will celebrate their 10 year anniversary this year.
