Victoria's Secret model Connie Jablonski involved in $3.3 million lawsuit

Victoria’s Secret model Cadence Jablonski is being sued by her former modeling agency after she left the agency to work for its rival.

According to ABC News, Jablonski is being sued for $3.3 million by Marilyn Modeling Agency, who Jablonski has been with since 2008. The lawsuit notes that Marilyn made Jablonski who she is today, getting her numerous opportunities including work with Chanel, Burburry and her recent ad work with Estee Lauder.

Daily Mail notes that the agency is also suing DNA Model Management. They are being accused of “poaching” the 21-year-old beauty.

Jablonski’s contract is said to be active through September 2014.
The lawsuit states, “DNA’s wrongful conduct is for the purpose of destablizing Marilyn’s business, and causing irreparable damage to its image (and) reputation.”

Bennett Krasner, Jablonski’s attorney, expresses that Marilyn neglected to pay his client after jobs were booked and later neglected to book further jobs for her. Krasner states, “At the beginning of her career, she loved working with Marilyn. Unfortunately, all of the people she worked with closely have left. She loves her new agency. It’s very supportive.”

The have reportedly tried to resolve the issue before Marilyn filed the lawsuit in New York earlier this week.
