Following an action packed weekend which featured the NFL Playoffs and the Golden Globes, let's see what this week in television will bring us:

Parks and Recreation returns January 17 on NBC.

NBC has announced that it will show the first hour of the two hour season premiere of Smash on Monday, Jan. 14. The new season begins Feb. 5.

This week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:

Monday, Jan. 14: Guests include Uma Thurman, Tim Gunn and Bobby Collins.

Tuesday, Jan. 15: Guests include Charlie Sheen, Emmy Rossum, Grace Coddington and musical guest Yo La Tengo.

Wednesday, Jan.16: Guests include Jeremy Renner, Hoda Kotb, Jessie Ware.

Thursday, Jan. 17: Guests include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maggie Q and musical guest Michael Kiwanuka. Michael Kiwanuka sits-in with The Roots.

Friday, Jan. 18: Guests include Jessica Chastain, Josh Gad, Alan Zweibel and musical guest The Joy Formidable.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno listings include as follows:

Monday, Jan. 14 - Nicki Minaj, Billy Connolly with musical guest The Saturdays.

Tuesday, Jan. 15 - Jessica Simpson, D.L. Hughley with musical guest Vintage Trouble.

Wednesday, Jan. 16 - Mark Wahlberg, Ali Wentworth with musical guest JJamz

Thursday, Jan. 17 Naomi Watts, Richard Engel with musical guest Train.

Friday, Jan. 18 Bob Costas with musical guest Big Boi.

Jan. 14 - Anthony Bourdain, host of ABC's new show, The Taste. Correspondent Evette Rios visits Wicked Whoopie Pies in Maine to sample the family business' sweet treats.

Jan. 15 – “Cheese is the word!” Co-host Michael Symon will create a delicious Ham and Cauliflower Mac and Cheese dish; Mario Batali cooks Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and co-host Daphne Oz learns how to make cheese at Beecher's Cheese in NYC.

Jan. 16 - RuPaul of "RuPaul's Drag Race" helps Clinton Kelly create a family style winter soup and sandwich combo; correspondent Jamika Pessoa travels to Bake Sale Betty in Oakland, California to sample their Fried Chicken Sandwich.

Jan. 17 - Allison Fishman, Cooking Light magazine teams with Daphne Oz to show viewers how to make magic out of what's in the fridge; Mario Batali and Michael Symon make magic out of leftovers with chicken two ways.

Jan. 19 - It's a "Top Chef" reunion when Carla Hall is joined by her fellow "Top Chef" alumni Fabio Viviani, who guest hosts today's show, as well as chef Richard Blais; they join forces to create an extra value dish-Italian Edition!
