Ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s announced a new 30 Rock-themed yogurt flavor to mark NBC’s hour-long send-off of Tina Fey's sitcom, which ended Thursday after seven seasons.
The cleverly named flavor is "Liz Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt with Blueberry Lavender Swirl," named after the harried head writer played by Tina Fey, Today reports.
Just one more reason to love Liz. Probably doesn’t taste as good as Lemon favorites Sabor de Soledad or Cheesy Blasters, though.
“It’s as sweet and tart as Liz Lemon herself,” Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Jerry Greenfield said at the yogurt’s announcement Thursday afternoon near the actual 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
The flavor, released earlier than typical new flavors in the spring, will be available in its shops and U.S. grocery stores in February, according to a press release.
Ben & Jerry’s is known for its pop culture-based line of dairy flavors, including one of series star Alec Baldwin’s own “Schweddy Balls” catchphrase flavor from SNL.
It’s Greek, too, like Elizabeth Miervaldis Lemon. And much like Lemon, 30 Rock nerds might just want to go to there.
