According to E! News, the CW is canceling the drama series 90210. The season and series finale will be Monday May 13.

The drama stars AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes and Matt Lanter. The show is produced by CBS Television Studios and executive produced by Patti Carr and Lara Olsen.

TV Line, who first reported the news, notes that the finale will be full of closure without any cliffhangers. 90210 is a carry-over from the hit 90s classic, Beverly Hills, 90210, which lasted for 10 seasons.

The CW had to make the decision because of the shows inability to draw in viewers anymore. Before the season started 90210 was getting 1 million viewers a week and a 0.5 demo rating. When it was last checked, the show was under 600,000 viewers and a 0.3 demo rating.

News of the famous ZIP code being pulled comes just a few weeks after the network decided to renew hit shows like Arrow, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries.

There is no news as of now on what the network will replace with the newly opened time slot with.
