ABC is moving Happy Endings again, scheduling it for Fridays, the typical sign of death for any show.
ABC announced Wednesday night that the show will go from back-to-back episodes on Tuesday nights to back-to-back on Friday nights at 8 p.m., reports Hitfix.
Happy Endings has been all over the place on ABC’s schedule the past few weeks, as the network struggles to find a good spot for the low-rated critical favorite. Previously unaired episodes were shown on Sunday nights for just two weeks in a 10 p.m. block with Don’t Trust The B--- In Apt. 23 in addition to the episodes airing on Tuesdays.
After that plan didn’t work, ABC pulled the last episodes of Apt. 23 and went with double Happy Endings on Tuesdays.
Now, beginning on March 29, the rest of Happy Endings’ season will air on Fridays at 8 p.m.
According to TV Guide, ABC will replace Happy Endings with The Taste at 9 p.m. Celebrity Wife Swap will take over the 8 p.m. slot, currently held by The Taste.
