Adele denies yelling at Chris Brown at Grammys, says they were ‘complimenting each other’

After a photo surfaced that seemed to show Adele yelling at Chris Brown for his behavior at the Grammys, Adele has come out and denied reports that the two singers had a confrontation.

In a message she posted on her Twitter on Tuesday, she says:

Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!

The photo, which many presumed was Adele and Brown yelling at each other, can be seen here.

Multiple reports had surfaced that Adele had confronted Brown over his behavior after Frank Ocean won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Album. When Ocean made his way on stage to accept the award, the crowd gave him a standing ovation, except for Brown, who stayed seated.

The tension between Brown and Ocean is due to a recent fight the two had. Adele can be seen staring at Brown while he stayed seated, the Daily Mail reports.

Although Adele has cleared the air, many others might still not approve of Brown’s behavior, who was accompanied to the awards show with on-again girlfriend Rihanna.
