Adele dismisses reports she was yelling at Chris Brown

Adele has come to the defense stating that she was not yelling at Chris Brown in the widely shared Grammy photo, instead she states that the two were “complementing” each other.

Brown’s refusal to stand up during the standing ovation for Frank Ocean at Sunday’s Grammys called for some serious backlash, calling the rapper classless and a poor-sport as not only did the two musicians get in a brawl earlier this year, but Ocean beat out Brown in the category.

Reports surfaced after the photo went viral that the Grammy award winning Brit was slamming Brown for not getting to his feet, but instead Adele notes the two were just exchanging pleasantries.

“Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!” she explained on Twitter.

According to New York Daily News, despite the untimely photograph, later pictures show Adele and Brown arm in arm as the “Set Fire to the Rain” singer snapped pictures with some of her favorite celebs. She posed with the likes of Brown and Beyonce, Katy Perry.
