Adele in talks for Las Vegas residency

Looks like Britney Spears won’t be the only one hitting up Sin City! Apparently, Brit Adele is in talks to take up a residency in Las Vegas instead of going back on tour.

A source told The Daily Star , “Adele is top of the Vegas hit-list and she’s seriously considering it as an option. She wants to get back to performing but doesn’t want to go on the road so soon after becoming a mum. A Vegas residency would mean she could settle with her family and record her third album all at once.”

However, this is a big decision for the singer and she isn’t ready to jump into the gig quite yet. Instead, she’s thinking things over and is getting advice from newfound confidante Elton John. Adele recently consulted Elton for her stage fright issues for her Oscars performance and now she has turned to him again.

The source explained, “Elton’s been like a godfather to her recently, helping her settle into life as a superstar and the challenges of being a parent. He eased her mind about returning to the stage, the significance of the Oscars and how she should return to playing live as she has such a great gift.”

And according to Perez Hilton , Elton thinks it’s a great idea!
