Alec Baldwin is expecting second child

A Baldwin brother is about to be a father once again!

Alec Baldwin and new wife Hilaria Thomas Baldwin are expecting their first child together.

Reported by Reuters, the couple’s rep released a statement saying that they were expecting a child, after months of rumored reports.

The statement was very vague, according to Contact Music. The due date was not revealed and neither were any other details related to the pregnancy.

“If I really shared how I felt, I would burst out crying”, Baldwin said to Extra, about the pregnancy news.

The couple wed in July 2012 and Thomas is 26 years Baldwin’s junior.

“It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise,” Hilaria told Extra, according to Reuters. She also works at Extra as a TV correspondent.

This will be Baldwin’s second child; after being married to Kim Basinger for nine years they had one child together, a daughter named Ireland who is now 17.

Alec Baldwin’s show 30 Rock recently aired its final episode on NBC so this baby will be sure to keep him busy!
