Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria Thomas is being sued by a New York man after he became injured during one of her yoga classes at Yoga Vida on Jan. 15.
According to the New York Post, the lawsuit says that the overcrowded studio was one factor that caused the student, 32-year-old Spencer Wolff, to fall and shatter a sixth-floor window, leaving him with “serious” and “severe” injuries.
Wolff was doing a handstand when he crashed into the window and caused his left leg and foot to be ripped open by the various shards of broken glass.
A student witness said that Wolff’s foot went “straight through the window” and the glass cut his leg in five places below the knee.
“There was a large amount of blood,” the source added.
The suit states that all of the students were put in “extreme danger” by Thomas by letting them “exceed a safe and/or maximum allowable number of persons.”
Yoga Vida has not yet made a comment on the lawsuit, Zap2It reported.
