Amanda Bynes continues unhealthy weight-loss kick

The troubled star has dangerous weight obsession amongst other issues.

It's been a while since we've seen former Nickelodeon and What I Like About You starlet Amanda Bynes display any normal behavior. In her latest interview, Bynes shows more signs of mental instability.

The actress was spotlighted in Us Weekly's feature titled "25 Things You Don't Know About Me." While the facts are meant to be random and quirky, Bynes references her weight several times.

She first shares that she "[gains] weight quickly so I need to work out constantly." She also mentions her unhealthy aspiration to be underweight: "I moved to New York City and I love it! I lost 4 lbs. since I moved. I'm 121 lbs -- my goal is 100 lbs." At 5’8,’’ this would give Bynes a Body Mass Index of 15.2 (the normal range is 18-22).

Bynes’s behavior is not only affecting herself but also those around her. The 26-year-old moved out of her downtown Manhatten apartment due to an eviction threat. As the New York Post reports, the actress displayed erratic behavior that disturbed her neighbors. One resident told the Post that the star came into the hotel lobby “at 2 a.m. one morning, laughing hysterically for four minutes.” It was also reported that Bynes had an open-door policy and used only red fluorescent light bulbs in her apartment.

Both her Twitter and Instagram accounts prove further that the former child star is trying to trim down. Aside from constant tweets like “Just got done working out,” Bynes Instagramed a photo of her legs with the caption, “Losing weight is hard to do!”

This is a far cry from the comedic and charismatic Amanda we once knew. Hopefully she finds her way and gets back on track soon.
