Andy Dick to join cast of 'Dancing with the Stars,' reports state

Controversial actor/comedian Andy Dick has reportedly been signed to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars.

TMZ reports that sources confirmed the addition of the Newsradio actor, in addition to Vanderpump Rules starlet Lisa Vanderpump and D. L. Hughley.

The source tells TMZ that Andy, who is reportedly paired to dance with a new dancer, “He's more for comedy ... nobody expects much from him.”

Andy will compete for the famous mirror ball trophy previously won by Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft. The series has struggled with ratings year after year and recently asked troubled actress Lindsay Lohan to join the series to dance her way back in America’s hearts.

Despite being offered a reported $550,000 to join the show, the Mean Girls actress declined.

Although the official cast roster is yet to be released, TMZ reports that Andy’s name will be added to the likes of country music singer Wynonna Judd, American Idol alum Kellie Pickler, Aly Raisman, Jacoby Jones, Bachelor star Sean Lowe and Victor Ortiz.
