Like parents, like children. Like Ashlee and Jessica Simpson protect each other, the same goes for their children, Ashlee's son Bronx, 4, and Jessica's daughter Maxwell, 9 months.
Us Weekly caught up with the Ashlee today and she spilled about all the close-knit family bonds.
"He is definitely the sweetest kid. He is brilliant," said Ashlee about her son. She shares custody of her son with ex-husband Pete Wentz.
She continued to tell Us Weekly, "He's got his own ideas, his own way of thinking. He is a jokester. He hides. He definitely will sneak around, play hide and seek. He'll get you and any joke. He's always very creative and he is pulling pranks on us all time."
In the exclusive interview with US, Ashlee talked about everything family, including her son's love of superheroes and his famous parents' music.
"He does like music, but he's picky. He'll tell you if he likes a song or doesn't," she explained. "That way I know too. If I write a song and he doesn't like it I won't do it."
Nine months ago, Ashlee's older sister Jessica welcomed a daughter named Maxwell. How does Bronx take on the new responsibility as older cousin? "He is definitely protective, and he's so excited about every time she's growing. He loves that stuff."
Jessica announced on Christmas Day that she is expecting he second child.
