America’s Golden Girl Betty White says she feels sexier at 91 than she did a year ago in a video for her TV special airing tonight on NBC.
“Now that I’m 91, as opposed to being 90, I’m much wiser. I’m much more aware and I’m much sexier,” the former Golden Girls comedian said.
White, who just celebrated her birthday Jan. 17, will be honored at 8 tonight during Betty White’s Second Annual 90th Birthday Special.
A number of celebrities will appear during the special to honor the comedy legend, including Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Cosby, Blake Shelton and Bill Clinton, according to Yahoo! News.
Her Hot in Cleveland co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick also will appear to wish her a happy birthday.
White also had some words of wisdom to share about her long life after more than 60 years in the entertainment business.
“Best thing about being in your 90s is you’re spoiled rotten,” White said. “"Everybody spoils you like mad and they treat you with such respect because you’re old. Little do they know, you haven't changed. You haven't changed in [the brain]. You're just 90 every place else.”
White recently recovered from a bout of the flu before her birthday last month, People reported.
White’s arguably most famous comedic TV roles are the scheming Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and dimwitted Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls.
She has certainly kept busy in her later years since a career resurgence from The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. Her reality prank show, Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which White hosts, began airing its second season in January on NBC.
She also won an Emmy in 2010 for her guest hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, the result of a Facebook campaign.
