Beyoncé's fitness trainer shares post-pregnancy workout secrets

Beyoncé showed off her sexy bod during her halftime performance at the Superbowl, but losing the baby weight from daughter Ivy Blue was no walk in the park.

"Y'all have no idea how hard I worked. I had to lose 60 pounds!" Beyoncé shouted at her concert in May according to Us Magazine. "They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!"

The singer’s fitness trainer, Marco Borges, told Life and Style how the 31-year-old mother got back in shape after gaining 60 pounds when pregnant with Blue Ivy, who turned one year old on Jan. 7.

"Consistency is the key to success," Borges said. "I love running-spring intervals for quick cardio sessions and also...running stairs."

Borges also said that eating one vegan meal a day helped Beyoncé lose the weight from her pregnancy.

“This typically gets people to eat more greens than they normally would," Borges said.

Beyoncé said that she enjoys listening to music while working out music becuase it helps.

"I'll put on a song that I really like and do biceps curls with 5-pound weights for the whole song,” Beyoncé said.
