Beyonce opens up about Blue Ivy in Vogue

Beyonce is set to cover the March 2013 issue of Vogue, where she speaks up about her daughter, her upcoming HBO documentary, and her music.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Beyonce told Vogue of one-year old Blue Ivy Carter, "She’s my road dog. She’s my homey, my best friend."

She went on to say, "I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain. . . . We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication.”

Beyonce hopes Blue Ivy can have all of the normal childhood experiences -- “School visits and lemonade stands and all that stuff. It’s very important for me.”

Although she gave birth not long ago, Beyonce is looking better than ever. About her body post-childbirth, she said, "After giving birth, I really understand the power of my body. I feel a lot more like a woman. More feminine, more sensual. And no shame,” as reported by HollywoodLife.
