Beyonce talks baby bumps and marriage in her new documentary

Beyonce is opening up to curious fans about Blue Ivy and Jay-Z in her new HBO documentary, Life is But a Dream, which is schedule to air on Saturday.

In the 30-second ad for her film, Beyonce says, “I always battle with, ‘how much do I reveal about myself?’”

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have always kept their personal life secretive, until now. The documentary features Beyonce’s life on stage and in rehearsals, as well as her baby, Blue Ivy, who she gave birth to in January 2012.

Rumors spread in 2011 that Beyonce was faking her pregnancy, so the Grammy-winning singer was sure to show many images of her baby bump in the documentary.

Beyonce also discusses her miscarriage in the film. Jay-Z first opened up about the tragedy in his song “Glory.”

According to Reuters, Beyonce says in the documentary, “It was the saddest thing I've ever been through. My life is a journey. ... I had to go through my miscarriage, I believe I had to go through owning my company and managing myself ... ultimately your independence comes from knowing who you are and you being happy with yourself.”
