The Grammys are over, but the fact that Justin Bieber wasn’t even nominated for one is still in the news. Patrick Carney, the drummer for the Black Keys, commented on Bieber’s snub, saying that Bieber is so rich, he doesn’t need a Grammy.
In an interview with TMZ after the Grammys Sunday night, Carney was asked if Bieber should be disappointed. “He’s rich, right?” Carney asked.
He continued, “Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy.”
Well, Bieber didn’t take that comment lying down, responding on Twitter, reports MTV News. “the black keys drummer should be slapped around haha,” the Believe singer wrote.

The Black Keys ended up winning four Grammys, including Best Rock Performance for “Lonely Boy” and Best Rock Album for El Camino.
As for Bieber, he spent his weekend hosting Saturday Night Live and trying to have a livestream with fans during the Grammys. Eventually, Bieber gave up thanks to technical difficulties and instead posted a new song.
