Los Angeles City Attorney Spokesperson Frank Mateljan told E! News that jail time isn’t the only punishment the New Edition singer faces. For the first count, he's required to pay a $500 fine, attend 48 months of summary probation and complete an 18-month alcohol program.
For the second count, he's required to pay another $300 in fines, complete another 36 months of probabtion and ordered to install a Breathalyzer in his car. He will also go to AA meetings three times a week before he starts his jail sentence.
Brown was pulled over last October in California with a DUI while driving on a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction, Extra reports.
He will start his jail sentence March 20. He wasn’t present in court today for the sentencing, but his attorney Tiffany Feder was there to represent him.
