The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi Glanville, author of Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, is once again being open and honest and revealing secrets about the financial aspect of the Bravo show.
Glanville, who’s involved in much of the show’s drama and her own of-screen drama with LeAnn Rimes, promoted her book on The Howard Stern Show and revealed she made $18,000 for her work on last season.
"For the first season I worked for 18 grand, so it wasn't a lot," she told Stern, Today.com reports.
The equally outspoken Stern replied, "In other words, they were like, 'Hey, prove yourself and then we'll give you a contract. ... and prove yourself you did! You really did!"
She admits that she’s not on the same level financially as the other cast members, noting she doesn’t even have $1 million to her name and some of the others are multi-millionaires. She talks about her not-so-warm welcome to the show when she entered its second season, saying "They just didn't want me there!" adding, "They were like, 'Oh, she doesn't fit in. She's out.'”
Glanville also revealed the other women make $250,000 a season, saying, "I'm not supposed to tell anyone this, but I'm just telling you.” She added, "I want what they're getting, because I feel like I work hard.”
