Although Britney Spears will no longer be singing in The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, she is negotiating a deal with Planet Hollywood.
According to Perez Hilton, the deal Britney Spears had supposedly secured to a $100 million per year residency at Caesar’s Palace fell through due to scheduling issues. While The Colosseum is currently booked for months, management is not opposed to working with her in the future.
"We are packed every weekend [for months]. [Caesars] is engaged with a number of today's top artists in discussions regarding headlining residencies at our venues in Las Vegas, [but is] always interested in having artists with the caliber of Britney Spears performing at our theaters." Emily Wofford, Caesar Entertainment’s public relations director, commented.
However, Spears has another offer in the works. A source revealed to People that Britney is in “advanced talks” with Planet Hollywood concerning a residency despite earlier reports that the spot was filled by hypnotist Marshall Silver.
If Britney’s social media is any indication of her thoughts, she definitely has Sin City on her mind. Yesterday, she tweeted in response to her dog’s question: “Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips?” “I don’t think so honey #VivaLasVegas.”
