Britney Spears is still hoping to secure a Las Vegas residency to headline a new show as her first post-X Factor gig. The move has been rumored for weeks, but there has yet to be an official word on where she will perform.
Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, told Extra on Tuesday that Spears is definitely going to perform in Vegas. She just has to choose between two different casinos, including one owned by Caesars Entertainment Group. “We are in deep negotiations and I'd be shocked if it didn't happen. Hoping to have a deal done very soon,” Rudolph said.
Rudolph made a similar statement to E! News.

Despite some rumors that talks may have broken down, Spears’ last tweet on Feb. 3 was about Vegas.
“Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in Vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips,” she was asked by her dog’s profile Hannah. She replied, “I don't think so honey #VivaLasVegas : ).”

Just last month, Spears confirmed that she will not do another season on The X Factor and that her engagement to Jason Trawick was over, all in one day.
