A 22-year-old woman was forced down an alley in Flatbush and then raped by her attacker on Saturday morning.
According to N.Y. Daily News, the woman was approached around 9:45 a.m., near East 27th Street and Glenwood Road, a couple of blocks away from Brooklyn College and Midwood High School.
Video surveillance shows the woman being dragged down the alley, where the suspect assaulted her, and then stole her cell phone. The suspect can be seen throwing what appears to be the phone against a cement wall, leaving the victim unable to call for help.
Police said that the suspect told the victim that he had a gun in his possession, but the victim never saw it, according to the N.Y. Post.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
As he appears in the surveillance tape, the attacker looks to be a medium-built black man, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He is shown last wearing a dark gray jacket, jeans and a white brimmed New York Yankees baseball cap. The suspect is bald, and thought to be in his mid-20s.
