Bruno Mars announces 2013 world tour

By Sarah McClanahan,

Bruno Mars will embark on The Moonshine Jungle World Tour in 2013, kicking off the North American leg this summer.

This past Sunday, Bruno Mars graced the Grammy stage for a performance alongside Sting and Rihanna.

According to Forbes he was the social media “winner” of the night. Although only nominated as a featured artist for Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s “Young, Wild, & Free,” Mars gained 100,000 followers on Twitter and 1.7 million YouTube views on his VEVO account within two days due to his spectacular performance.

On Tuesday, February 12, he appeared on Ellen to promote his upcoming world tour to support his sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox, reports Rap-Up.

The Moonshine Jungle World Tour will start in North America this summer, and then move on to Europe in the fall. Mars will be joined on select dates by Ellie Goulding and The Tantrums.

Stops in the United States include Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Portland, and Nashville. Dates and venues have not yet been released.

Additionally on the show, Bruno made a teen’s dream come true. Since he couldn’t attend her prom, he brought the prom to her, dancing with her on Ellen’s stage. He also gave her a pack of four tickets to see him front and center when his tour comes to her city.

Check out the precious moment below!
